The Path Not Taken
Every now and then an image comes into your view that you just takes your breath away. This Painting is from a photo taken by a young man named Austin Kennedy in Wyoming. I excitedly asked for and was given permission by him to paint it... I'll be forever grateful for the privilege. The title was a gift also from my Mentor and dear friend Bev Jozwiak, the whole experience from first seeing the photo through putting it up here to share with the world has been dreamy. I've loved every second of this journey. It took me several days to complete it and I must admit I was taking my time because I wanted to enjoy seeing this magnificent composition manifest in a "painterly" way. A truly memorable painting and image in my book for life.
