Just a bit South of Escalante Utah atop a series of switchback nestled upon some red rocks sits a tree that upon seeing for the first time I knew I would have to paint it. You just know when an image is going to be a part of your story and this one is that and so much more. I love this composition and on a side note I understand that they actually mine Blue Clay from this area... Magic!
